i've been working away these past few days to try to upload some new goodies in the shop. check out the new brooches, prints, jewelry, and more, that are making their way onto the site!

there's also been an issue with shipping calculations on the site, and they have now been fixed! if you put multiple items in your cart, it will now be weighing things properly (certain items were coming up too heavy and causing the postage calculator to go a little overboard!) it's been an interesting problem solving session over here while i've been trying to sort that out, so hopefully everything should be working smoothly now! please feel free to let me know if you still see something that seems a little weird!

alright, it's back to work for me! i have a lot of fun and exciting things i'm working on these days, so stay tuned for more updates!

(and p.s. - don't those flower brooches just make you want spring to get here already!? i'm counting the days until warmer weather!)

fresh stART show

i wanted to pop in to let you know that i'm participating in a great event - fresh stART - a one night sale of artwork in santa monica, ca, on february 4th, to benefit LAs Best  -- LA’s BEST was created in 1988 by Mayor Tom Bradley to address an alarming rise in the lack of adequate adult supervision of children during the critical hours between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. They serve 28,000 kids at 180 elementary school sites in Los Angeles in neighborhoods most vulnerable to gangs, drugs, crime and at schools with the lowest student test scores.

a few of my framed prints will be for sale at the event, so if you're in the area, please go by and visit (or take home!) my little babies that will be traveling across country for the show. it's awesome to be able to support such a great cause! i'm so excited to be a part of this project! :)

time flies when you're having fun!

i am shocked that my calendar is reading the 11th already! where has time been going? well, i figure i must be having fun, since i haven't even noticed how quickly this year is already happening!

last week i was working on a commission for a client that had me pretty focused. (i'll be sure to post pictures once the project is complete!) i've also been apartment hunting now that the holidays are over (my lovely parents were nice enough to let me stay here for a few months before going out to find the perfect place!) i've also been attempting the 2012 Whole Living Action Plan. it's getting more and more difficult as the days of no cheese drag on, but i can say i've been feeling much lighter and healthier these days!

taking photos has been helping me experience more in my daily life (i need something to take a photo of, after all)(besides the cat - because - rule #1 is no pictures of the cat! lol)

this afternoon, i'm off to look at some places to call my new home. i am so excited to start decorating a new apartment or house! i actually enjoy moving around, so the possibilities right now are getting pretty fun :) wish me luck on my hunt! :) :)
